Personal Reasons for This App

We all turn to YouTube for different things — learning, staying updated, or just relaxing. But over time, I found it harder to keep up with the channels I actually cared about. The homepage kept changing, recommendations got noisy, and videos I wanted to watch later were lost in the feed. That’s why I created Viwella. At its core, Viwella is about following your favorite YouTube channels in a simple, focused way — without distractions, and without relying on YouTube’s algorithm. You decide what to follow, and Viwella makes sure you never miss a new upload — all in a clean and organized space. In this post, I’ll share the personal reasons that led me to build the app and how it helps bring clarity back to video watching.
